my  mother was born in Germany DURING ww2.  Her mother came to the
USofA in the mid 50's.  My grandmother has told me quite a bit about
the reign of Adolf Hitler, INCLUDING 'you had to watch your neighbor
to insure he was not part of the resistance'.
