I remember last year saying that I didn't think the US GDP would even grow at 2.1%. But Gaar in his infinite wisdom, or lack thereof, said he believed the GDP would grow more than 2.1%. "You'll see" he told me.
I'll see alright. --- Real GDP increased 1.1 percent in 2008, compared with an increase of 2.0 percent in 2007. --- I believe US GDP compared to world wide puts the US just ahead of Zimbabwe, but behind almost every other country on earth, including communist and dictatorships.
