That's a riot! Why didn't the nuns teach us that? lol That would have made life so much easier, Hollywood! I fear we were a generation of damaged psyches over-preached about sacrifice and virtue, etc. either ending in divorces or continuing gripes. My daughter has a better marriage than I ever dreamed of, thank God, but she had to find her way to her wonderful husband. We were married off young- too young to be wise in our choices. It is a regret and one has to keep an alternate set of gratitudes handy- on a daily basis.
