Good question J.C.! I don't know the answer, but Ms. North Carolina was asked something that was fairly difficult, but not nearly as politically charged. I don't recall the question now, but I remember hearing it.
I tend to believe that Ms. Cal. was asked the question by Crisco Hilton, because he believed, being that Miss California was, "Miss California", she would have answered the question to his liking. When that didn't happen, like a lot of far left extremist secularists, he pitched a bitch, and WALA: We have Miss California's (now sixteenth) minutes of fame!! I noted that "The Don"; when announcing that Miss California would retain her crown, also said that Crisco would be invited back next year as a judge.....Go figure.
