I think you have to take our mess back to the Kennedys/ Clintons as far as voter collusion was involved. It doesn't mean there weren't other downturns and crises since WWII. But since the Kennedys turned the Presidency into a swooning photo-op, there is a pretty sick attraction for Liberals to vote in a celebrity-stunt who excites MSM which excites the economy.They hope- but it doesn't- because those who know some pretty basic conservative prinicples are prepared to survive. I doubt Ike, Reagan or Bush 41 would have prostituted themselves with a bunch of late night comics or media sound bites.This is a Nation. This is a Government.
