Washington and various state and city governments would love
disinterest from their citizens- it would make their corruption so
much easier! Dissent is the true mark of a vital Democracy- that is
what is absent, for the most part. Did the Democrats prevent the
invasion of Iraq? No- they funded it and now use it as a weapon
against Republicans. Please don't use the excuse that they were duped-
the public was duped.//MSM is biased towards the Obamas and will use
them to their own advantage to maintain ratings and advertising
revenues- it's the Camelot Syndrome. But any sane person knows there
are enormous economic problems facing this country along with wars,
outdated infrastructure, etc. No one would ever run their personal
household like governments have been running us- it is unsustainable.
And who are the brave fools who wish to subject themselves to media
scrutinty and attacks? By hack comics, talk show battleaxes and
candied soundbiters of news. Plus modern life is hectic and the
average person has little time to collect accurate information about
the impact of government upon their lives until they rebel against the
cost of it all- both financially and culturally. The fact that talk
radio has been so successful for conservatives rather than liberals is
a healthy indicator that people are looking for another point of view
than presented by MSM and government officials. So far, the Obama
formula for changing our Democracy hasn't done very well- the outcomes
of his policies are unclear and unsolved- just a lot of bluster and
busy-ness and a very real threat to capitalism. The capitalistic
society that created this Internet!
