All fixed. I thought I was going to have to break down and get a new hard drive and then try to rescue all my saved files, etc. My Computer repairman found a problem that he could fix for a grand outlay of $43 and it took him about half an hour. Bless him and his children to the 99th generation!! I have a huge number of files saved. Need to look into getting an offline hard drive to put them on to be updated occasionally. Other than that all is going pretty well.
My landlord is from Puerto Rico and his mother and other relatives are visiting now and I have been unofficially adopted into the family. That is taking a lot of my time right now. Great people. I am alive right now because of them and their taking care of me when I came down with COPD. I am really blessed knowing them. Take care and do look into Michael Totten. He is not only an excellent writer and for a semi-liberal really an unbiased one as well but he is very cognizant of the whole Middle East political situation. Very much worth reading on a regular basis and also worth dropping a few bucks into the kitty for as well.
