Hiroshima is a beautiful city now. I lived just outside of it about 50 years ago and most of the damage had been removed and/or built over. One had to go to the Peace Museum to see evidence of it.
As for climate change or global warming...we have always had climate change. The only constant in the universe is CHANGE. We have been in a state of global warming for 20,000 years when the current ICE AGE peaked. When the last glacier has melted, when the ice sheets covering Greenland and Antarctica have melted, then we can declare the end of our current ICE AGE. Before the current ICE AGE began there were ferns growing at the north pole which now only grow in rice fields in Vietnam. Plants sucked so much carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere that it caused our current ICE AGE. And what do the climate change folks want us to do? Cut back on carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to what end? And who are they to tell us what the optimum temperature is for this planet which has managed to keep the temperature within a range to support life for billions of years before we became self-conscious.
