Jack and Fred,

The issue is based on a false argument. There has been no individual that
I am aware of, that has criticized President Obama and the Obama
Administration for "get[ting] involved in the politics of adversarial
countries"; or "criticizing Obama for not meddling in this thing". Any
thinking American, from both sides of the aisle would be foolish to advocate
that our government get involved in Iranian domestic politics.

Where there was criticism, and where there was controversy, was that
President Obama, and the Obama Administration was saying nothing, when
clearly, the Iranian government was killing folks that were protesting in
the streets. Our current Obama Administration had LITERALLY invited the
current Iranian regime over for hotdogs and hamburgers to any American
Embassy in the world, for the 4th of July. President Obama was still
continuing to push for dialogue with the current Iranian Regime, even after
it witnessed the bloodbath in Tehran!

It was only after several conservatives stood up and said, "WTF"??? that
the Obama Administration withdrew our hamburger and hotdog invitation and
started backing away, condemning the bloodbath by the Iranian regime.

Yes, we have an obligation to say, "Shit stinks" when we smell it, and when
you see helicopters pouring acid on crowds, and armed troops shooting
innocent civilians in the streets, ANYWHERE, I want my government to
condemn it. That is a far cry from siding with one political party or
another, or getting involved in Iranian domestic politics!
