I heard minority leader John Boehner read on the House floor Friday the contents of the 300 page amendment that was added to the bill at 3:00 a.m.. He itemized its provisions for wealth realignment and government intervention into literally every miniscule aspect of American’s lives that are so implausible, so outrageous, so over-the- top insane, that it was hard to imagine that this bill – which was considered a toss-up all day – would have any chance of survival in a rational world. Since it did pass I guess that rationality lost again.
