Spirituality is an interesting term. In my circle it is often used in response to a query about what religion you belong to. "I am not religious, I am spiritual." Many religious people, especially those who reflect the message on the poster about "RELIGION", are not spiritual at all. They are exclusive, whereas spiritual is inclusive. It usually means something akin to the Hindu greeting "Namaste", (The divine within me honors the divine within you.) Spirituality is the recognition that there is something in all life that connects it all. It is called spirit. When you die, the spirit leaves the corporeal and what is left is a group of chemicals that can be used by other life. You renew the soil when you add the body of plants that are no longer alive for example. What you call "Yourself" is really a life system of many, many different bodies all living on and in your body. Most of the cells that make up your body do not carry your DNA. Are the molecules of water in your body you? Were they you before they entered your body and do they cease being you when they leave? How about the air that you breathe? When does it become you and when does it cease? We share the air and the water on this planet and it is always circulating. If it is not you, then 75% of you is not you, not counting all of the other life forms getting a free ride. Just some thoughts on it for you to consider.
