I will have to disagree about Teddy Kennedy. He got drunk, a choice, he drove while drunk (a really bad choice) and he fled the scene after the accident (a self-serving choice), leaving her in the car and resulting in her drowning. Now, maybe he was too damn drunk to know she was alive and maybe he was just a self-centered asshole, but he was sobre when he hid from the law the next day and he was sobre when he allowed his family to buy his way out of what clearly should have been prison time for the manslaughter he committed.
