This statement in the article is so full of bullshit it could have been written by Obama himself. How the hell would it make it harder for law enforcement? How would it be a boon for illegal traffickers? This law is meant for people with legal carry permits from being waylaid by other states laws. Consider some out-of-state jewelry dealer driving into NYC with the pistol he always keeps in his brief case with his jewelry. He opens it at a place where a cop sees it and questions him. Guess what. That's a MINIMUM of three years in jail. Is that fair?
