On another forum a gentleman with a Masters & Doctorates in
criminology commented on the Gates affair.
His contention was that all police officers are under educated to do
the job. Not only is a college degree of BA or BS inadequate but
unacceptable to do the job. He claims that a minimum of a Masters &
even better a Doctorates is needed to deal with situations like the
Cambridge incident. Which begs the question. If a Masters or
Doctorates is the answer to this type of situation; why was Professor
Gates not able to control himself ?
This guy ( Gates ) holds both degrees and still made an idiot of
himself and Harvard. The criminologist Doctor, and Doctor Gates may
very well be intelligent but obviously lack the " wisdom " to utilize
it.
