Sarge, Hawaiian state law (that pesky island in the Pacific where Obama CLAIMS to have been born and whose document he has shown to gullible idiots) HSS:390 says that what Obama has produced is NOT proof of him being actually BORN there... only that his birth was reported there. For proof of where he was born (and for kids to join little league, natives to collect state benefits etc.) there exists a LONG FORM birth certificate with a hospital seal, doctor or attending persons signature, time of birth, all those pesky details that prove he was hatched in Hawaii and not simply reported to be there.
As to McCain.. he was born in navy leased space in Panama of two US citizens... one was active military. He presented his case to the Senate and they offivcially resolved the issue by saying that he was a "Natual Born" citizen under the constitution.
