The original point was that the Conservatives never have never
offered anything which resembles ideas. They come across as if they
fear new ideas and suggest that everything will lead to collapse of
civilization as we know it. Why, are simple questions so hard to
answer. I personally do want some one else reading lists and tired
bumper sticker answers I want to know what if anything they offer as
an alternative? Is that being cynical? I am asking what they propose
as an alternative. If you use some one else's idea that is fine, but
don't just give a reading list answer the question, and then suggest
additional reading. The idea of discussion as I define it is you
offer something I agree or offer differing idea and then we attempt to
common ground or persuade the other party. Not hurling school yard
puerile comments on the board to pass as conversation.
