The point is that Americans are not allowed to have an affordable health care system. The country is corrupt to the bone. The insurance companies have had their good times for a long time and now someone is asking them to think about those who are paying the bills. Pictures in the press about sick people being dumped on the sidewalks and women with children dying of cancer do not touch the American soul. Importance is the bonus to the top floor and the commissions to the reps. More than anything is the kickbacks to the politicians and the promise to the press that their rags will be filled with advertisements. What is there to say about a country that produces a Sara Palin, Beck, Coulture and feels that god speaks to us through the Rush Limbaugh voice. Barnum said that there is one born every day, and I ask my self is a good portion of the Americans the suckers for the health insurance companies. Of course from where I sit, I can walk in to any hospital and get treated without selling my children and home. What America needs is a little hope, hope that the goal is the people and not to filling the plates of those who have to much.
