Bush's approval rating was negative three when he lost the election, which the Democrats won in a landslide because Americans despise the backward misanthropic stupidity of conservatism. Americans are finding out the hard way that Obama is no less atool of finance capital than the Neanderthal Bush.
Bush really epitomizes the average conservative--an illiterate, ignorant misanthropic philistine who had no idea of the world outside of the US before coming President and probably has even less now. Just like Bush, conservatism embraces all that is repugnant and reprehensible--this is reflect in the outlook of its followers. As for the Gallup poll, it's hardly a big surprise as conservative zealots are always the first to engage in this type of meaningless activity.
