Quite frankly after hearing the arguments of birthers, health reformists, war advocates and the say-no-to-everything republican mafia, I've little doubt they want to use the money for something completely other than it's stated purpose. To me it's more like an advertisement for suckers to give money to a political corporation...and I quote: "And to express their gratitude for your donation of just $75 or more,..." These people don't take a donation of less than $75 bucks to send you a copy of their book? They're worse than the Hare Krishnas at the airport. Facts about FOCA? Here's a fact; the Supreme Court made Roe v. Wade the law of the land while a few states undermine that law. All Congress is being asked to do is confirm or deny what the Supreme Court ruled so that states can't do that. So what are Republicans worried about? After all, 6 of the 9 current Justices were picked by....Republicans.
