How can we relieve anyone from responsibility for their job? If you
are careless enough to leave a towel inside a body cavity during
surgery you should pay for it just as anyone else is held responsible
for their job. What you are asking us to do is forgive carelessness
that costs lives and leaves some in a life of misery. No, I don't
think we should forgive such ineptitude.
