You're kidding right? The majority of Americans are fighting tooth & toenail to prevent the public option which is socialized medicine light. We sure as hell would fight to the death to prevent full out single-payer socialized medicine. If people want that crap, they can move to Canada. This is a Republic with a democratic government, not a Democracy.
And most certainly anyone who supports single-payer's rights can be bought. They will sell them for free healthcare (which of course, isn't free).
