I find it somewhat ironic, (and just flat out dumb) that an astute politician such as President Obama would have subjected himself to tagging his name to the Chicago Olympic cause, without having some dominion and control over the outcome. He clearly comes out of this debacle with a black eye, looking stupid and sullied.
On the other hand, despite the waste of tax dollars that was spent on this idiotic venture by the White House, this was probably the least of the issues that concerns me about the Obama Administration. All in all, I would have liked to have seen the Olympics come to Chicago, and I am disappointed that this won't happen.
