I wouldn't expect any of our politicians to even come close to fixing this mess any time soon. We've been screwing the pooch on this problem for years.
Isreal is quite good at defending itself. These douches are just idiots, if we took a firmer stand on Palestine, Israel would do what we wanted and the Muslimes know that. If the Gov wants to keep sending over our money by the boat load (literally), fine, but I want to see a good return on investment. Either they do what we want, pull out of the West Bank so the rest of the Middle East will quit trying to kill US, or, they start some henchman "wrath of god" type assasinations for us.
