And You Still Wonder Why Health Insurance Premiums Are So High?
Posted by David Kramer on October 12, 2009 10:13 AMI heard on the radio this morning some economically-ignorant doctor whining because the new HALO Breast Pap Test is not yet covered by health insurance companies. So, you may ask, how much does this excellent life-saving test cost? $5,000? $1,000? $500?
$150. Yep. $150.That’s sure going to push most folks over the financial edge into bankruptcy.
Now you know one of the main reasons why health insurance is so expensive. As much wiser people than myself continually point out: Do you think if your auto insurance company had to reimburse the cost to you of replacing a flat tire, filling up your gas tank, or changing your windshield wipers, auto insurance would be as cheap as it currently is?
