You don't understand any more about being a leader than Obama does. While it is "cool" and "ethereal" and enlightened to eschew war, the fact is that most of the world does not. Clinton tried, as you do, to pretend that we were not under attack by al Queda. 9/11 was the price for not understanding. And while Obama may feel, intellectually, that war is barbaric and regrettable, as a leader he must also understand that sometimes its unavoidable. And he should not be addressing those we ask to prosecute said war with ambivalence and lack of conviction, which is exactly what he did and why he is a poor leader.
