Dear Richard,

For those of us who believe in free markets, entrepreneurship, and in
trusting free people more than government to solve our problems, last
week was a great week.

Talking about Jobs in Cincinnati, Jackson & Allentown

We kicked off our Real Jobs Summit Tour in Cincinnati, Ohio and Jackson,
Mississippi, with great

plan, and took questions from small business owners, students, and
citizens concerned about our economy.

Then on Friday, we followed President Obama to Allentown, Pennsylvania
where he held his first "White House to Main Street Tour." As the
President was there to "hear from local small business owners on how to
create jobs" we interviewed some local Allentown small business owners

to hear what they would tell the President. Let's just say they weren't
exactly singing from the same song sheet. You can see video clips from
Cincinnati, Jackson, and Allentown below.

As we mentioned last week, before we can win the vote on policy, we must
win the argument on the better approach for job creation - and last week
was a great week for beginning to educate our fellow Americans about
lower taxes, smaller government, and real solutions for job creation.

5 Questions for President Obama's Speech

On Tuesday, President Obama will be giving his first big economic speech
since his Washington, D.C. Jobs Summit. According to the White House, he
will "outline some key priorities for encouraging businesses to invest
and create jobs."

If his speech tomorrow is to have real impact, President Obama will
present us with new ideas that will help small business owners,
entrepreneurs, and concerned citizens around the country.

If you get a chance to either watch or read the President's speech, here
are 5 questions worth asking:

1. Does the President's new plan differ at all from the original $787
billion stimulus plan or is it more of the same?

2. Are the solutions offered in the new plan temporary or are they
long term solutions for sustained economic growth?

3. Do the proposed solutions put more power in the hands of
politicians to spend money or do they empower individual Americans to
decide how their own money should be spent?

4. Will the President's new plan be designed for small business to
create jobs or is it designed for government to create new jobs?

5. Does the President promote his energy tax and healthcare
proposals as job creators, or does he emphasize them less than usual?

We'll be paying close attention to the President's speech, hoping we
hear something new.

Sincerely,
Dan-V-Signature
