Why just think of all the interior facets, built in appliances, furnaces, garage door openers, wiring, light fixtures, doors, cabinets that will need to be built to replace those items being scavenged. Then there is the dry wall and painting that will need to be done plus probably a few windows to fix plus a cleaning service to tidy up and the best part: it is all done with free (Fed) money. Why the mind boggles at the possibilities. We could crank up all the auto plants and drive the cars into the ocean and then make a new batch of cars. And if folks are still short of money, put the plants on overtime. This is even a better stimulus than war and no one gets killed, upsetting mom and dad who, for some reason, have become attached to their sons and daughters. I think I'll write Senators Levin and Stabenow with the good news on how to solve the economic difficulties. Why I bet we can even balance the budget if enough effort is made.
