Diseases spread by fleas have killed more people than all the wars ever fought, combined. Cimex Lectularius, or more commonly known as the bed bug can consume its body weight in blood in five minutes. The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, named the characters after his real life father Homer, his mother Marge and his two sisters, Lisa and Maggie. The town Springfield was named after his hometown of Springfield, Oregon. Robin Williams, Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman and Dr. Seuss were all voted, “least likely to succeed” in high school. With the introduction of the Happy Meal, McDonald’s quickly became the largest toy distributer in the world. Dentists recommend storing your toothbrush at least six feet away from your toilet to avoid airborne particles from attaching to it after flushing. Most people have heard that celery burn more calories when you eat it than you consume. But did you know, you burn the calories during the digestive process and not while chewing. Pineapples, oranges, lemons, watermelons and tomatoes are all types of berries. Experts estimate that there are around 60 million rats in New York city. Roughly seven rats per person. Rats can have sex up to twenty times per day. They multiply so fast that one pair of rats can have up to 15,000 babies in one years time.
