This is really tough to watch, but was done as a way to honor all those who
have struggled to come back from serving in war -- this one from the Viet
Nam era.
Whatever your feelings on that war were, we all know and can agree that war
is hell, but this man went so far above and beyond what a soldier should be
called on to ever do.
While I certainly don't mean to suggest that a film ("going
Hollywood") could ever recompense his rare and bold courageousness, bravery,
and enormous sacrifices, his story is extraordinary and worthy of one -- Roy
P. Benevidez was a valiant hero indeed.
