How about debating first on the quality of the public school education
and the failure of the union teachers to do their job. Why take the
kids from what may be a not so good home schooled education and place
them in a public school system that is a total disaster just so you can
say you are doing it for the
cheeeeeeelllllllllllddddddddrrrrrrreeeeeeeennnn. From what I see
around here the public schools are a disaster from the git-go and are
definitely not doing their job, especially when you consider that they
are getting over $12K/student. That should be the prime consideration.
Other question is why are you asking this question in the first place.
Have you had some bad experience with a home-schooled parent telling you
to go away? When you look at the home-schooled kids I know of, they
are for the most part way ahead of the public schooled kids and far more
open to learning.
