.....was Elliot Spitzer resigning as Governor of NY State. Up til then, Patterson was blissfully ensconced in being Lt. Governor and doing nothing at all. He had a staff and a large expense account and budget and no responsibilities. No one was gunning for him, no one cared about his ethics or the Yankees giving him tickets. Now look at him. Just pathetic.
