American Islamist warns South Park creators Parker & Stone with death

I have written many controversial blog posts that have elicited raging
flames from all sides. I have gotten threats both implicit and direct from
people who do not agree with my opinion.

I also believe in the freedom of speech and that no matter how disagreeable
a point of view is, they have the right to say it. But speech has its
limits. You cannot shout fire in a crowded theater. You cannot publish child
pornography. You cannot libel people. And as far as my opinion is concerned,
there is no right to threaten people or incite violence on people.

Words have consequences.

I also think that religion requires some deference regardless of its
beliefs, practices or nature but it is not exempt from criticism, satire or
even comedy. What makes sense to one faith is blasphemy to another and so
forth.

You can criticize government policy, your senator, teacher, mayor,
congressman and President Obama. You can even call the president a
socialist, not-born-in-the-USA or facist but *no one* can call for the
president's death or encourage people to kill or hurt him. People can
criticize the war in Iraq and Afghanistan but encouraging or directing the
killing of our soldiers is out of line. By the same token, one should not
call for the death and killing of the Iraqis or Afghans.

I must admit I watch Comedy Central's "South Park". At times, I find it
over-the-top offensive so I turn it off. I have watched the Jesus as a
superhero episode (...not good) and other over-the-top episodes.

Yes, there are limits but the limits are not on satire and comedy. If you
don't like watching "South Park", turn it off.

A Islamist group has warned the creators of "South Park" that they could
face violent retribution for showing the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit
during last week's episode. RevolutionMuslim.com has a message to "South
Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee, said the
men "outright insulted" the Prophet Muhammad.

Al-Amrikee posted a picture of Theo Van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was shot
and stabbed to death in Amsterdam in 2004 by a Islamist fanatic. Van Gogh
made a film written by a Muslim woman who rejected the Prophet Muhammad.

"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they
will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," Al-Amrikee
wrote. "This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will
likely happen to them." Some responses to Al-Amrikee's blog posts talk about
the sick and gruesome killing of Parker and Stone.

Al-Amrikee also posted the addresses of Comedy Central, Parker and Stone's
California production office and a Colorado retreat owned by the two
animators.

Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee is a Islamist blogger who identified himself as *Zachary
A. Chesser* in January 2010, publicizes terrorist propaganda, endorses
suicide attacks and espouses hatred against the United States, the US Armed
Forces, Jews, Israel and Shi'a Muslims through several Internet sites, blogs
and social networking sites. His web site (though you can look at the cache)
is down but his YouTube sites are alive and well. Al-Amrikee sent out a
Twitter message, "May Allah kill Matt Stone and Trey Parker and burn them in
Hell for all eternity. They insult our prophets Muhammad, Jesus, and
Moses..."

Chesser describes himself as a "Muslim revert" (...whatever!) and is former
student at George Mason University. He used his George Mason University
email to register his TheMujahidBlog.com. He is a white male so he would not
fit a racial profile and I assume he is an American. He claims to live in
Virginia and his DNS registration confirms a Bristow, Virgina address. He
had a Facebook profile though it claims it was being updated by his wife.

As I said, I believe in freedom of the press but there are limits. Calling
for the death of people or threatening to kill people should never be
condoned. In particular, calling for the death of people you disagree with
is over the line. I guess Chesser sees himself as the next Anwar al-Awlaki,
the American Islamist cleric now living in Yemen.

*FIGHT BACK AND SHUT THIS ISLAMIST DOWN*

What should happen? I say shut down Chesser's means of hatred, murder and
outright criminal threats out. It may not do much because he'll just migrate
to lesser known sites and services but it would be a message that there are
limits to free speech. Chesser can rant all he wants but he should setup his
own personal ISP, write his own blogging software and create his own social
network tools.

Facebook has just shut Chesser's page. He has blogs called "Mujahid Blog"
and RevolutionMuslim.com. He has a BlogSpot also called RevolutionMuslim. He
still has two Twitter accounts "Mujahid
Blog<http://twitter.com/MujahidBlog/status/12231481361>"
and "Abu Talhah". He has an active YouTube site called "Al Quran wa
al-Ahadeeth" and "Jihad Blog". Scribd hosts all his documents praising
suicide bombing. Photobucket hosts all his images.

If there is a single reason for laws on treason, it might be Zachary A.
Chesser, Islamist.
