Powersun, You are a little off, but not much. The causes of Trachoma are well known and all are avoidable with simple sanitation being the foremost anti-trachoma drug.
Just tell your people to WASH using soap and water. some other causes are: Poor sanitation Water supplies Direct contact Contaminated objects Towels Flies And all but one cause... poverty... can be taken care of by soap and water and forming a habit of using them. The medicinal use of truffles predates Islam .... they learned it from the JEWS.
