May 20, 2010 FEMA Worker Caught Dissing Salvation Army Relief Workers Posted by The MaryHunter at May 20, 2010 9:45 AM
How else can the Obama regime offend the faithful and drive wedges between Americans? Here's one way: Angela Lott and Pamela Wedgeworth, who are sisters, told The Associated Press that the FEMA worker videotaping the cleanup on Saturday in the small town of Ebenezer asked them to do on-camera interviews but requested that they change out of their T-shirts because of a Salvation Army logo. "He said, 'We would like to ask you to change your shirt because we don't want anything faith-based,'" Lott said Tuesday. Lott said she asked him why he didn't want to feature faith groups. "All he said was, 'We've done that hundreds of times,'" Lott said. Sure, a FEMA official has gone on record saying that the videographer was "absolutely wrong" to ask some Mississippi church volunteers to remove their "religious" tee shirts before filming them at a tornado cleanup site. The worker has since been fired. But how can one not suspect that FEMA just got caught having to defend an indefensible position that is a matter of administration policy? With such a mendacious Commander-in-Chief setting the tone, one must suspend one's disbelief. Unfortunately, this is becoming more and more common in our society. Christians are being asked to even remove t-shirts because those shirts are "offensive" to some.
