Where Nancy Pelosi lives
I read this little press release and almost vomited. This Botox-filled
witch actually wants Americans to believe that the Democratically
controlled Congress and Obama's White House are committed to fiscal
responsibility as they tripled the federal budget
deficit<http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/10/07/budget-deficit-hit-record-trillion/>by
nearly $1 trillion dollars last year. Now
that's historic <http://www.profutures.com/article.php/623/>.
*Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement
today in response to the Obama Administration’s proposed Reduce Unnecessary
Spending Act that would establish a new, expedited tool to rescind spending:

I'm guessing 'Unnecessary Spending' is everything outside of spreading the
wealth, social justice, bailouts and paying back the unions?
“The Democratic Congress and the Obama Administration share a strong
commitment to fiscal discipline and common sense in our budget, and we must
continue to do everything in our power to boost our economic recovery, rein
in the deficits we inherited, and remain responsible stewards of the public
purse.
FACT: Bush left office with a $459 BILLION dollar budget deficit in 2008. In
2009, Obama's budget deficit was $1.4 TRILLION. So what was 'inherited'
Nancy and the Democrats tripled in one year. Obama's 2010 budget is
estimated to be $1.6 TRILLION.
The CBO <http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/100xx/doc10014/selected_tables.xls>has
estimated Obama and Pelosi's spending will add $1 TRILLION to our deficits
for the next TEN YEARS, doubling our National Debt.
“After President Bush and Republicans in Congress turned record surpluses
into record deficits and nearly doubled the national debt, Democrats are
returning our nation to a course of fiscal responsibility. Upon assuming
the majority in Congress* in 2007*, we made pay-as-you-go budgeting the rule
of the House; *this year*, with President Obama’s signature, we made it the
law of the land. We enacted health insurance reform that cuts our deficits
by more than $1 trillion over the next two decades, and Congress passed a
budget that brings down our deficits – and actually came in under the
President’s request. We cut taxes for our middle class and small
businesses, and passed laws to create American jobs and build a new
foundation for our economy.
FACT: PayGo was a political
scam<http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704852004575258643671613242.html>.
Democrats have continued their record spending while not cutting other areas
of the budget or their spending. The Democrats continue to pass record
spending and bailout bills

go against the very PayGo law they passed.
PayGo rules require that new entitlement spending and new tax cuts must
be paid for dollar-for-dollar with entitlement spending cuts or tax
increases. Since the Dems took over in 2007, Pelosi has broken this law by
over $1 trillion dollars.
On the health care claim, I guess Pelosi was too busy getting her Botox
injections to read the

the actuaries of The
Centers of Medicare and Medicaid

state ObamaCare will cost more and not reduce the deficit. The CBO

the same claims.
The claim that the Democrats passed a 'budget that brings down the deficit'
is a bold-faced Botox injected lie. Again, in 2009, the Democrats passed
Obama's $1.85 trillion budget (CBO #'s) and proposed a $3.6 trillion budget
<http://www.profutures.com/article.php/623/>for 2010.
The tax-cut is another
myth<http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/promise/515/no-family-making-less-250000-will-see-any-form-tax/>.
In his first week in office, Obama passed a tax-hike on cigarettes and
alcohol to pay for SCHIP. That's a tax hike, not tax cut. Not to mention all
the new taxes inside ObamaCare. Just another Obama/Pelosi lie.
And we can't forget that awesome stimulus Pelosi brags about. The Obama
stimulus did the opposite of what the he, and the Democrats, claimed. It did
not keep unemployment below 8% and it did not create 3.5 million jobs.
Obama's economic advisors (Larry Summers & Christina Romer) advised
Americans that unemployment would stay at/near 10% for years to come. Now
that's real success.
“We look forward to reviewing the President’s proposal and working together
to do what’s right for our nation’s fiscal health and security, now and in
the future.”
Talk about being delusional and out of touch with America. This witch is
spending like the taxpayer's money is from the Monopoly board game. This is
what Democrats call 'fiscal responsibility.' What did you expect from the
most open, honest and ethical Congress in history?
