I am personally getting a wee bit tired of the complaining about Katrina. What I am seeing from here is that the rest of the country has pitched in big time to help for 5 years now and I see a lot of the natives sitting back waiting for someone to fix it for them. That gets old and tired in a hurry. When I see the people of Missouri and Iowa and North Dakota and South Dakota and Tennessee and Kentucky pitching in and fixing up and I even see Mississippi residents doing the same, then why can't New Orleans do the same. Instead we see all these programs bitching and moaning about how the place is not fixed up yet. I am sure some of them are doing so. Why aren't the rest of the former population doing the same. Why aren't they moving back and rebuilding. I have friends who have spent their vacation with the rest of the church in other states coming to NOLA and cleaning up and rebuilding and yet the residents are just still complaining about how the government has not fixed it all up.
