Glenn Beck. King of The Gentiles
I had more gratitude than a panhandling Libertarian that just
received a crumbled up dollar bill from an oil sheik passing by in
skid row. Is the U.S.A a great country or what? A former alcoholic
and shock jock can rise to the top of the heap of the evangelical
right is truly American! Because of JFK and Obama the religious right
has a Mormon leader! Only in America! Has the fundamentalist
Christians found tolerance to Mormons? After all, The K.K.K allowed
Catholics to join their patriotic Christian group in the 70’s. Either
they grew tolerant or they were desperate for anybody. I guess Ben
Stein is too Jewish to be their leader. Glenn Beck might be the next
Amy McPherson.
There was so much sanctimony on the Lincoln memorial on August
28th that the ground maintenance crew had to use a powerful cleaning
agent from Dow Chemical Company to clear the air of stinky heresy.
Glenn kept promising all us there would be a miracle occurring during
that day. The only miracle that happened was the predominately white
crowd didn’t get sunburn under the summer sun. I guess the brand,
“Banana Boat” sold a lot of units in Washington D.C that day. There
must have been a few drug stores on the green line route. The crowd
was very obedient. They were told not to bring signs or guns and by
gum, they didn’t! I mean holding a sign with a caricature of Obama
would have been kind of uncouth. After all, this is where Rev.King
delivered that historical changing, “I have a dream” speech. Isn’t
funny? Yesterday’s communist is today’s federal holiday? Yeah! The FBI
big wheel J.Edgar Hoover referred to King as that coon commie! Most
the white political right and Republicans saw King as an agent of the
former Soviet Union. My, my! Have the times changed! The religious
right is trying to hi-jack Martin Luther King legacy. Well you know
what…eh, eh! No dice! MLK is tattooed on the left arm of God and there
aint shit the right could do about it. Maybe the left should hi-jack
Berry Goldwater? After all, he was half Jewish. No! How about Ronald
Reagan? Never mind.
Glenn Beck claiming he didn’t know it was on the day the MLK gave
that speech was a bald face lie. They cry about Muslims building a
mosque on the hollowed ground of 9-11 and yet they have a rally on the
site of MLK’s great speech. MLK was no conservative! This
Machiavellian tomfoolery coming from the U.S hierarchy is getting
boring. I’m getting tired of well-meaning people that they’re no
conspiracies. You know old Christian cliché? The biggest trick the
Devil plays is claiming he doesn’t exist.
So? Was honor restored Saturday? Honor is very militaristic term.
These clowns love our military as long as they have fight in the war.
Oh, they fawn all over our military like they are the militant wings
of the Republican Party. They act like our military are Christian
soldiers. They have a war fetish. They worship sacrifice as long as
they are the sacrificial lambs. Just ask the Koch brothers, Richard
Million Scaife, Pete Coors or any other billionaire pigs. They are
Gods! They do not have to pay taxes or fight in wars! They are rich
and white and are too important to participate in defending the
motherland or is it the Fatherland? When it’s time to vote for another
G.I Bill for our warriors, FORGET ABOUT IT! They honor the warriors
with histrionic verbiage and ingratiation but talk is cheap. They want
our warriors to die for free!
The political right sends mixed messages that are contradictions.
How can you say you believe in individualism when you ask that
individual to conform to patriotism and act collectively in a war?
Just remember: The greatest sacrifice is sacrificing sacrifice
itself.
There is an old tattoo slogan: Death before dishonor. Maybe Beck
should look into the inner meaning of that slogan?
