I say: feed a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish for himself and he eats forever. Your governor to be (your claim, not mine) earned her money and has the RIGHT to spend it as she sees fit. Since when does giving money away truly help anybody ?? The money she spends on her campaign does indeed employ people (who then don't need free clinics or other help) The campaign she is paying for did indeed create jobs that were not there before. Tell the "poor" that they should have paid attention in school, been aggressive in creating something rather than looking at a menu of positions (that someone ELSE created) in the Sunday paper (Just for you that would be the classified jobs section) Neither your Governor-elect nor I owe anyone health insurance, a job, or a "free lunch" of any kind. I earned my money by CREATING jobs for someone else by actually using the brain God gave me... I expect no less from someone else. I am the product of public education, poor parents, and some very rough times... yet here I am and because I (or anyone else) actually worked long and hard enough to personally succeed by taking advantage of opportunity that practically slaps each and every person in the face every day you think I should "give my money away" ..... no way.
