Posted this morning at Electric Politics, a podcast interview with Republican pollster Steve Lombardo. Steve is an experienced and savvy pollster and political consultant, and he also blogs at the Huffington Post. Steve thinks this election cycle is driven by the desire to throw the bums out (as have been all recent elections). This is bad news for the Democrats but not necessarily good news for the Republicans either, since, assuming they make substantial gains next Tuesday, it may well be them getting the old heave-ho in 2012.
