Vote Tuesday and bring people to the polls.
November 2nd is just days way and frankly I'm worried that the Democrats will get hit hard with losses. I will not forget when Al Gore lost in 2000 and John Kerry lost in 2004 and it both cases it involved voter fraud and a Republican led Supreme Court to give the elections to George W Bush and the Republicans took control of congress. In 8 years while the Republicans were in control we were attacked by terrorists, Bush committed us to a war of choice in Iraq, the Republicans de-regulated everything so Wall Street could line their pockets, killed the surplus Bill Clinton built up, gave the rich a big tax break, let the people of New Orleans flounder in the disaster of Katrina, and by the end of the 8 years the economy crashed, banking crashed, and many big businesses like Chrysler & GM hit the bricks and now the Republicans are wanting us to reward them for how they handled our government for 8 years by electing them back in control to do the same thing all over. If we let them win by sitting at home and not voting this could happen: * Senior Citizens could find Social Security Benefits cut. * The VA Hospital System no longer existing. * The rich getting more tax breaks for supposed new job creation. * Big Oil back in control of the energy policies. * There would be no Global Warming legislation...we could kill the Earth and ourselves * Voting rights tampered with so they would have the edge in elections across the country. * Have your citizenship denied for the 14th Amendment was repealed or edited. * Cuts in social services or maybe eliminating them all together. * Repeal of the Healthcare Bill. * Minimum wage cut or eliminated. * More jobs going overseas to China thanks to the US Chamber of Commerce helping the Republicans to get elected by using foreign money to finance many Republican campaigns. * The bigotry of the Tea Party showing up in legislation. * Social Security being privatized. The Democrats have worked very hard at saving this country when the economy tanked and the banking system failed. The Republicans time and time again said let the banks fail, let the economy tank, let big businesses go bankrupt, and you know if they did we'd be looking at 30%+ unemployment. I can't begin to describe to you how bad it would have gotten and how far reaching a 30%+ unemployment would have destroyed this country. I listened to an expert on the news for about 10 minutes describing the riffling effect of a 30% unemployment figure. *no jobs would be available. *loss of taxes would cripple city and state government of providing police and fire protection. *School districts would have to cut staffing by about 2/3rd s for they wouldn't be able to pay their teachers. *The unemployment insurance would fail..no one would get unemployment in probably a month. *Businesses couldn't get loans to pay their employees for the banks would be insolvent. *FDIC bank insurance would fail. *Basic services across the country would be cut or eliminated. *More jobs cutting back or closing due to lack of business *No money to pay the military or maintain national security. In essence our country would go bankrupt!!!!! Vote Republican I think not! Please vote November 2nd. Don't sit at home because you think Washington isn't listening to you. Remember that the Democrats have always stood up for families and the middle class. Main Street not wall Street should run this country so VOTE Democratic on November 2, 2010. -- Together, we can change the world, one mind at a time.
