Good analogy Bruce. No question, Arlen Spector was the epitome of what "is/was" wrong with the Republican Party. Long before there was a label of, "Tea Party"; there were many like Dick Thompson and I who were clamoring for a house cleaning of the conservative based Republicans. Spector, along with that chinless SOB from South Carolina Lindsey Graham, were just two of a long list of targets.
