I've been hearing this diatribe my whole life, and haven't seen any evidence police have knocked on doors to take anyone's guns away yet.
The extremist arguments are as patently ridiculous: Side 1: they're gonna take everyone's guns away...no one will have any guns except criminals. Side 2: never mind guns, they want every law-biding citizen to have the right to own a-bombs.
