Dear GregfromBoston: My New Constitution is "Democracy on Demand". If an issue is obviously quite controversial, like Obama Care, it will automatically be outside of the authority of Congress to decide, and will be decided by a direct referendum of the voters. Raising taxes beyond "a" specified limit stated in the New Constitution will require 60% approval of the voters. The huge misconception about government is that the (mostly) bastards in Congress are conscientious enough, and fair-minded enough to represent the people in any regard. Career politicians are living in an unrealistic world making decisions for those living in the real world. My New Constitution will correct that by excluding any person who has ever worked for government (other than in the military) from becoming a representative. By ELIMINATING media access to House Members, there will be no more "ego motive" for becoming a Congressman, because appearing before the media, beyond one's home district, will get the Congressman fired! And "lawyers" will be prevented from holding more than 20% of the seats in Congress. Lawyers have SCREWED the country up, and that will stop!
