I don't actually want the government to coin money. Even though it is in the Constitution. If we allow it to coin money I don't want many people to use it and I definitely want people to mainly use private competitive currencies) and NOT a currency that is controlled by a government created monopoly banking system like the Federal Reserve
An economist named Lawrence White wrote a book on this called "Competition in Currency" (see image). I think they only way to stop government from expanding, by issuing debts which they sell to their own banker cronies, who create fiat currency which then devalues the dollar and causes inflation, is to make them suffer from competition with other currencies issued by other institutions that do not devalue because they do not inflate.
