Detailed reports submitted to chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy by
the NRI cell (at the Secretariat) reveal that apparently students of
Tri-Valley University got a very lucrative commission--- a 20% cut for
every admission they facilitated at the sham varsity. The commission
was beneficial for the students as it was calculated on the tuition
fee of the fresher which was approximately Rs 8 lakh.

In addition to this, many students from Andhra Pradesh who were
enrolled with the Tri-Valley had landed at the University in a
roundabout manner. Attracted by Sham University’s offer of instant
employment, these students had switched their admissions from their
first varsity to the fake one.
