I would rather be paranoid when it comes to government, be aware of nefarious possibilities, and do what I can to prevent them from happening than (having done nothing to prevent such possibilities) become a victim of such possibilities after they have been implemented.

Anyone who thinks it is impossible for gun confiscation to happen in this country has forgotten Nancy Pelosi's famous words, "We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It." Government obviously does not exist for the benefit of the people.
