Obama reminds me of a guy named Eddie Once upon a time, a guy named Eddie started hanging around with our teenage daughters. Not specifically but with group of High schoolers. The first time I saw them was when they came to our house. Obviously, as a father of 6, my antenaes went up. I don’t know how it happened, but he won me over. He was a nice looking guy, very courteous and very comfortable to be around. It turned out he was the father of the mechanic that kept my old Cadillac running. He told me he’d make sure they didn’t get in any trouble. I bought it hook-line-and-sinker.
One day he drove up while I was replacing a burned out headlight on the Caddy. He asked what I was doing and I told him I was replacing the same headlight for the 3rd time this month. He asked me if I checked the ground wire. Huh? It was simple as that. As time went on, I heard that Eddie was a drug pusher at the local high school my daughters attended. Every lunch period he could be found across the street of the school in a small restaurant that was popular with students. I wondered how that could be true. I wondered if his father knew that. Then one day I saw his name in the paper. Eddie was convicted of drug pushing and was sentenced to prison.
