Feeding the homeless is indeed the issue. In early 2006, the Orlando City Council passed an ordinance that prohibits sharing food with more than 25 people in city parks without a permit and *_limits permitted groups to doing so only two times a year_*.

That folks such as yourself support such crap is disturbing.

Arrest documents state that Orlando Food Not Bombs received permits

On May 25, Orlando Food Not Bombs illegally fed a large group of
homeless people, the police report states. The group on its website
called for members to show up that day and defy the city ordinance,
according to the report.

Officers said they found a press release on Markeson when they
arrested him stating that group members planned to defy the ordinance
Wednesday.

feeding the homeless is obviously not the issue with these folks ...
they think they should a "right-a-way" in the parks

they needed a reality check

I cannot believe a community would allow the creation/enforcement of a
law that prohibits feeding homeless people. It's time for very large
gatherings of people to hold un-permitted barbecues at all Orlando parks
at the same time on the same day.

When we ask for freedom, we have already failed. It is only when we
declare freedom for ourselves and refuse to accept any less, that we
have any possibility of being free.
