It has been a long time since I have read any legislation or heard what the laws are now that govern background checks for individuals to buy guns and assault weapons. There are many individuals with very strong opinions about Islamic extremists and I would guess that they are also supporters of the 2nd Ammendment. So I am interested in how one seeks to compromise (aside from racial profiling) this call to arms to assure that those who are so compelled to do what this crazy person is asking and the right to bear arms.
