Hmmm ... these are (over) regulated by Government ... must obtain a Government approved permission slip (this is a 'free' country?) ... from a Government approved physician ...
The Dangers of Prescription Drugs

Not crack, marijuana, or heroin, but prescription drugs.
"A recent analysis by the Los Angeles Times found that drug deaths now outnumber those killed in traffic accidents, and prescription drugs are largely to blame." This was recently discussed on Talk of the Nation.
Sounds like the government should declare war on prescription drugs, not crack, marijuana, and heroin.
